JBS&G has been contracted to Earth Resources Regulation in Victoria since late 2017 to assist them with assessment and approval of work plans for mining, exploration and extractive industry projects in Victoria. This has involved assessing plans against regulatory requirements, reviewing the adequacy of risk assessments and management measures in plans, preparing requests for work plan changes and preparing approval documentation. JBS&G staff have also contributed to reform of the assessment process for these plans and work to improve guidance to industry.
