Lyon Group contracted the JBS&G Environmental Impact Assessment team to obtain fast-track approvals for two solar and storage projects in South Australia and Victoria -  a 330MW solar farm and 100 MW/400 MWh Battery Energy Storage System near Morgan and a 250 MW solar from and a 80 MW/320 MWh Battery Energy Storage System at Nowingi. Our scope included all primary development approvals and planning permits for the project, liaising with relevant government institutions and referral authorities in each state, supporting community engagement activities and management of numerous technical studies, including noise, traffic, ecology and heritage. JBS&G prepared comprehensive environmental impact assessments and was able to leverage our presence and experience in both states to achieve efficient and timely approvals.
